Tuesday:  band at lunchtime in music area

                Full cast after school UNTIL 6pm

Wednesday: sign up for lunchtime practices

                Full cast and band after school UNTIL 5.30pm (late bus available)

Thursday:  registration as normal then in auditorium Period 1 onwards for full cast and band.

                Bring costume with you

                Bring a packed tea as we will stay through rehearsing after school

Performance:  Thursday 7pm in the auditorium

Getting ready for September

Congratulations everyone – Scripts are on the way to our 3 year 11 leads that were not in school on Monday.

For the rest of you, check out the Student Resources Drive:  look in ‘Music’ and you will find a folder called ‘Cabaret’ which has the script, vocal score and cast list in it.  More stuff will appear with time.

First full company rehearsal will be Tuesday 9^th September 3.30- 5pm on the Thurston site in the auditorium.  There will be a late bus at 5pm.

This rehearsal will be a read through of the script

Remember to come and see the Sondheim show on Thursday evening if you aren’t in it!

Backing tracks for singing auditions

Here are some backing tracks you may find it useful to rehearse against ready for singing auditions on Thursday:

 
- Wilkommen backing track – vocal should begin at 0:06

 
- Cabaret backing track (although you won’t be able to do the ending we practiced to this track.) vocal should start at 0:12

I will be putting ‘Maybe this Time’ into the key of G as I have found a version already transposed to that key – should make it a bit easier to sing.
